Belli Challenge #134

Hi ya'll!

I'm SO super excited!  I get to share my first project as a Belli Girl with you today!

This weeks challenge is: Snowflakes.  I have to admit, I was a bit burned out on all of the Christmas stuff, but I went "shopping" in my stash, and came across my Tim Holtz snowflake die and the creative mojo started flowing.  Here is what I came up with.

I LOVE this card!  I distressed the main panel with Barn Door and Fired Brick distress ink, then I stamped the flourish with water, and the script in brown ink.  I embossed my sentiment in white, so that it would "pop" against the red and it looks pretty darn good.  I added my snowflake border, some lace, twine and a bow with a pearl, and was finished.  Everything except for the stamps I used are hoarded supplies.  The lace, twine and die have been in my possession for over a year.  Now I can add this to my stash of Christmas cards for this year, and feel great about using up some of my stuff.  Yay!  I've also combined the folloiwng challenges in my card.

Crimbo Crackers #5 - Snowflakes

I do hope you'll head over to the Belli blog to see what wonderful projects my new friends have made for you.  They're all pretty fantastic!

I'll be back soon with another something crafty!
Hugs!

Day 3

Hey ya'll!

I hope you've had a good start to your week, and things aren't too crazy.  Here is my photo for Twenty-Twelve in Photos.

Day 3

My promotion at work kicked into effect today, and even though I may not enjoy more responsibility, I am enjoying a few of the perks.  Like taking extra time at lunch to stop and get some Marble Slab goodness, before heading back to my office.  :)

Have a great day!

Twenty-Twelve in Photos

Hi everyone!

I came across a new blog that Lori Boyd has put together called, Twenty-Twelve in Photos.  It's kind of like the other blog where you take a picture everyday and post it throughout the year.  I never really got into that, but I think I'm going to join in on this adventure.  I've definitely got lots going on this year, so why not.  I will be posting two photos today, as I didn't come across this until just a few minutes ago.

Day 1
I spent the first day of the year getting crafty with my scrapbooking girls.  We were cropping from 10am to 10pm and I have to say it was just what I needed.  I {heart} my girls!!

Day2
Mmm, enjoyed lunch with a friend, at one of my favorite hole in the wall taco places.  Best. Tacos. EVER!!

I'll be back tomorrow with the next photo.
Hugs!
