CASE-ing Chrismas Challenge #18

Greetings!

I apologize for this post being so short, but I overslept, and am now running a bit behind.  I wanted to get my card posted though.

It's time for another CASE-ing Christmas challenge.  This week we are CASEing Mynn.  Here is her beautiful card.

And here is the card I made.

I kept the layout the same, but went for totally different colors.  This star background was done with embossing paste and a stencil.  I really wanted to use it, for added dimension.  I stamped the holly twice, once on patterned paper, and popped it up.  After this card was done, I didn't realize how much it looked more like a patriotic card than a Christmas card, but I just left it as is.

That's all for me today.  I hope you'll head over to see what the other ladies have posted for you today.  They're always pretty fabulous.

Have a great day!

There's nothing wrong with a patriotic Chrismas Card! I posted your card picture on the blog -- it was missing. Have a great day!

I see this card as a great combo of modern and traditional, I really like the stars and the doily with image.
