Yay for Thursday!
That means I only have to get up early for one more day this week. I love sleeping in, don't you? Anyway, I have another quick post so that I can share another card I made last Saturday while at my friend Joni's. I wanted to break away from the traditional Mother's Day card, and here is what I wound up with.
I've had some Pixielicious paper for a while now. I'm happy with how this came together, using those papers. I stamped the gorgeous Verve flower onto some patterned paper, cut it out and popped it up using dimensionals. I absolutely love the textured leaves on this. I think they add a nice touch, and more dimension, without being bulky.
That's it for me today. I'll be back on Saturday with another project for you. Have a great day!
Hugs!

Beautiful Mother's Day card, Steph! Your leaves are perfect - pure genius! May have to steal that idea sometime! Hope your weekend is low key and you have time to relax! I'm volunteering at a Women's Wellness Weekend at the YMCA in a town about 40 min. away on Saturday. Will be on my feet all day helping folks scrapbook! I'll think of you all tucked in...hugs!
Very pretty card! I love the colors and the flower. I am sure your mom will love it!
Oh, I love this Steph! Love that textured 'leafiness' to offset the patterns - perfecto!
Such a gorgeous card!
Very creative! Love the layout and the great texture of your leaves!!
Left you a little something on my blog today...stop by when you get a chance!
Hugs,
Anne
