Noel

Happy Fourth of July ya'll!!

A huge thank you to all of those who serve, and their families.  I am grateful for the sacrifices you make.  How has your holiday weekend been?  Have you celebrated?  I was bummed that I wasn't able to make it to any of the fireworks on Saturday or Sunday, but I'm hoping to make it to the fireworks tonight.  Guess we'll see how that goes. lol

I have another Christmas card for you today.  This card was inspired by my sister, who chose the colors.  Here is what I came up with.

Totally non-traditional.  Totally loving it!  I have to say, everytime I break out the distress inks, I fall more and more in love with them.  I'm going to have to figure out how to create a spot on my desk for them so that I can use them more often.  I think the background stamp is one of my new faves from Hero Arts too.  I absolutely love this!  I've combined the following challenges into this card.

Anabelle Stamps - Say it with Frames
Stampin B's #117 - 2 Die Cuts & Paper Piercing
Last But Not Least June Challenge - Create your own stamped background paper
Our Creative Corner - Christmas In July
CHNC #27 - Pink and or purple (hopefully I used enough pink)
Clearly Inspired Challenge #31 - Die Cuts, Punches, Cut Outs
Prairie Fairy #56 - Swirls & Pearls

I hope you have a great time enjoying the fireworks in your area!
Hugs!

Lovely card Steph, the background looks awesome and that frame is sweet as. I like your twelve step program, I might have to adopt the principle of staying 12 steps from my own craft room! any excuse lol.
